We stock 6lb.and 8 lb. pad at  wholesale prices. For medium and lower priced cut pile carpets we recommend 6 lb. pad. Not only do you save on cost but it will make the carpet feel thicker.  High end carpet and Berber carpet 8 lb. pad is recommended. It is a firmer pad and will make your carpet last longer.
